Stuff

Starting the babies early on German cuisine: weißwurst, pretzel, mustard.

Jasmine was a brave girl for her ear piercing!

She chose blue crystal flower earrings.

There's a park nearby that has a pretty cool zip line.

One major annoyance about living here is that management has decided to do a pretty major renovation on our building. Sevak, as a former GSO, is pretty ticked off at the way they're handling this (he wants them to move us to temp housing). I think the workers themselves are trying to be as unobtrusive as they can, but the point is this is a very involved project.

We've had various windows taped up for the past couple of months.

This was when our garden was much "shorter." There is, however, a load of spinach (which we've since pulled out and replaced with other stuff).

Zinnia's first lollipop. She felt pretty cool and special.

I made homemade phyllo dough one day and we made some spanikopita from our homegrown spinach.

Did I ever mention we bought guinea pigs? Here they are enjoying the fresh air and grass.

The kids' school has a large number of Korean students. Here is a Korean drumming group during a recent summer concert.

Little Mermaid and octopus.
