Yesterday Rose and I went to the library to meet up with some of her friends. She had a great time pulling books off the shelves (sorry, librarians)! She also enjoyed crawling up the shallow steps in the children's storytime area. However, she did NOT like trying to negotiate her descent. Poor little thing kept skimming the edge, wondering how on earth to get gown.
Overall, though, it was fun being in a new setting. You gotta do what you can to escape the tedium of snow (when will it ever end?).

Ahhhh...the library...one of my all-time favorite places to take kids! Good job, Chrissie, good job.
the library is my favorite place to take myself. i can't wait to do it with kids. and their friends.
What a cute bookworm! I'm so impressed with Rose's motor skills too...always have been. Did being in that setting make you nostalgic for the "old days" working in the library (while in CA)?
