What To Do When You're Craving Baked Goods But Do Not Have a Car, Eggs, Milk, or Chocolate

Mash up a plantain
Pour in some "maple syrup" that you made for Saturday's breakfast because you can't find maple syrup in your country (white/brown sugars + water, boiled).

Add some coconut cream that you skimmed from the top of some coconut milk you made this morning

Add some flour, salt, more coconut milk, and baking powder, which you later realized was actually powdered sugar. Then fry the batter in a pan with oil.

VoilĂ . They really stuck to the pan for some reason.

Other new foods we've tried recently:

Made a pumpkin and cassava curry. Rather yummy.

This is how avocados, or "pears," look here.

They still have rather the same taste and texture inside.

I also tried sugar cane the other day. Nothing like sucking pure sugar juice. Yum!
